Sapphiria

...the other blue Planet

Somewhere on the magical paths lies a small obscure universe that you usually only end up in if you take the wrong exit on the way from the domain of the Mana Goddess and her holy sword to the realms protected by the Avatar of the Eight Virtues. It is located near a part of the multiverse not far away from a few peculiar worlds in which...
What? "Normal" people may find this...? Hrmph... Oh well, whatever. Then I won't...

Sapphiria

Anyway, in this universe a small planet orbits around its sun. More precisely, a small, blue, Earth-like planet called "Sapphiria" with its two moons. It being a sort of parallel Earth with humans, dwarves, elves (called levhes here) and other sapient species is not a very surprising thing in this corner of the multiverse.

But the moment you realize that the thunderous jet of flames does not originate from a dragon but a mighty steel colossus headed for outer space should be the latest for it to become clear that things work a bit differently here...
Or when a ghost summoner does not only show up with the usual magical trinkets, but with an electronic calculating machine on their back.
Or when the music sounds more like 70's rock than minnesong...

Battles with sword swinging warriors are another thing you will spend a long time looking for, especially if you do not look back in history.
But all the modern technology will not change the fact that the mysterious powers of magic still are still keeping something unpredictable to themselves, and the probably always will be. Not least in the shape of magical beings, whether they are benevolent spirits of nature, wacky fairies or gruesome demons.
But those will not stop "mere mortals" form having their equally bizarre quirks and especially because of these strange idiosyncrasies they are more human than one might first expect...

Because of this Sapphiria does not become boring even if it is a friendly world despite its portal to the homeworld of the quarrelsome trolls.
After all, "friendly" can be a very elastic term, as the universe of Sapphiria also has a "dark side" or two. But you will not find any grey drabness but a playground of black humor and forbidden passions. Yes, you read that right... And no, I'm not planning to become a bestseller author by writing bad fan fiction... Besides I'm talking about some stuff that's apparently too hard for this world: feminist pirate reenactment fights and orange lighted jacuzzis are just the start...

Note: The full description of Sapphiria is (currently) only available in German as I don't have time to translate all of it, unfortunately.
